Abdourahimy is a Mining Engineer Professional, who is having a cumulative of seventeen (19) years of mining experience at different department. Nine years of Health, Safety, Environment and Community Professional-HSEC (from Advisor to Specialist) Ten years of Exploration, Construction, Mining-Port Operations as Senior Geologist. Since 2006, he graduated in Masters’ Degree in Mining in Boke. Later he reverted in the Safety field where he learned and practiced over the nine years in the HSE domain. Recently appointed as a Safety acting Superintendent, he is currently busy with Rio Tinto Simandou Project, running of the Rail Spur and Port facilities Construction. Abdourahimy is result driven person, he is willing to learn, progress and share his values with mates

  • Identify hazards related to gases and chemicals on site by recording Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS);
  • Implement the agreed management review actions of the HDS HSE management system.
  • Develop and implement annual security plans including specific measures, targets and objectives;
  • Ensure safety records are properly documented and recorded in accordance with Rio Tinto SimFer Project.
